As primarily a container depot servicing various smaller container leasing companies, local and international traders, we do not, in our core business, physically produce or create any products.
Rather we offer a value added service to damaged steel shipping containers i.e. handling, storing, estimating, repairing, washing, preparing, and tracking. Our auxiliary service offered to the container trading market is where our modifications and production takes place.
We have been listed as an approved depot for South Africa by the Container Owners Association.

Container Repairs
Repair (Workshop core business)
Our workshop is largely what the depot is built around as it is the area where we are most challenged in terms of technical repairs and requirements from our customers.
Generally speaking, repairs are carried out to all damaged steel shipping containers according to ISO and IICL5 standards as well as any container owner standards may impose on us. Anything from minor inserts and sectioning to major container refurbishment or reconstruction is undertaken. Most work involves gas cutting, grinding, MIG welding, sealing, patching, replacing, renewing, re-designing etc. As a result we will be establishing an artisan mentorship/traineeship program to develop skilled artisans who may eventually move on into the metal and engineering works or boiler making industry.
Repair (Workshop additional business)
As an add-on to our core business we will also be offering a container conversion service. This entails creating anything from a simple single door/window office structure to a completely cladded, customised office or house. This additional business unit caters to the second hand container trading industry which is very active in South Africa.
