Containers Are Going Domestic

One of the biggest trends that we are experiencing in the container industry over the last couple of years in South Africa is the innovative use of containers, especially using them as container homes. People are attracted to the fact that the containers are mobile and not that expensive anymore, especially with expired containers. Many do the conversions by themselves without any outside assistance. Alternatively, others are using these containers as offices by simply adding windows, electricity supplies and possibly air-conditioning. Once again, another major advantage is the fact that these offices are mobile as well, so should a change of location be required, it will not be that big of a challenge.
